Welcome and thank you for becoming the proud owner of a Hydra-Tap™ product! We understand that the fire protection business is tough, so we build tools that’ll go the distance. With that being said the Tap Cylinder on The Hydra-Tap™ is guaranteed FOR LIFE against poor craftsmanship or factory defects. Negligence, misuse and normal wear/tear are not covered. As for the rest of the parts on The Articulating Hydra-Scope™ and The Hydra-Tap™, excluding the compression nuts with integral o-rings, we are providing a 1 year warranty from the original purchase date.

We want you to have a functioning tool. If you lose or break something and you are beyond your warranty, just call us! As an existing customer we will work with you to get your tool back in service.

Undamaged returns are generally accepted within 30 days of purchase and must be authorized. A 20% restocking fee will apply and return shipping is at the expense of the End User.

Under no circumstances shall Hydra-Tap™ or it’s affiliates, partners, suppliers or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary damages or injuries arising out of or in connection with the use of or inability to use or improper use of or practical or impractical application or use of our products. Whether or not the damages or injuries were foreseeable and whether or not the purchaser and all affiliates were advised of the possibility of such damages and injuries without limiting the generality of the foregoing. All tools and content are as is, as available. All warranties including ones expressed or implied to include ones of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, compatibility or infringement are to the fullest extent of the law, excluded. The only exceptions to this are described in the first paragraph of the Terms of Sale and Warranty Information. Hydra-Tap™’s aggregate liability to the purchaser and all affiliates whether under contract, tort, statute or otherwise shall not exceed $25.00. The foregoing limitations will apply even if the above stated remedy fails of it’s essential purpose.

By purchasing our products you agree that you have read this disclaimer, agree to the Terms of Sale and Warranty Information and will use tools as described in the various tutorials. Do not force the Set Rods into place. If you force them when there is resistance, you will likely damage the check- valve. By purchasing The Hydra-Tap™, you also acknowledge and agree that HYDRA-TAP LLC dba Hydra-Tap, LLC is not responsible for any damage to any check-valve or sprinkler system or building in any way in perpetuity. Furthermore by purchasing or using our products, you agree to waive all rights to participate as a class member or plaintiff in a class action.

Hydra-Tap, LLC has worked diligently to fabricate a comprehensive and versatile selection of Set Rods that work on most check-valves. Ultimately it is the responsibility of the user to insure compatibility between Set Rods and check-valves as well as approval for use by AHJ’s in any given jurisdiction. Do not subject the Set Rods to forces leading to plasticity as described in the Carlson Testing, Inc. report or forces in excess of 850 lbs., or 1,000 GPM as described in the Coffman Engineers, Inc report. If utilizing the Compression Nuts with integral o-rings, do not pressurize in excess of 250 PSI for longer than 2 hours. Use of our products is at your own risk.

With great power comes great responsibility. Don’t abuse your Hydra-Tap™, or other products you purchase from us and/or partners and subsidiaries, or the appurtenances you use them on.

The Articulating Hydra-Scope™ is subject to the same terms and conditions noted above, excluding all performance characteristic language relevant to The Hydra-Tap™. The Articulating Hydra-Scope™ is to be utilized for inspection purposes only, to view, take images or create video at the discretion of the End User. This tool comes with a 1 year warranty from the date of sale. Do not use The Articulating Hydra-Scope™ with highly flammable products or in explosive spaces or near corrosive elements or bend the camera more than 150*. Don’t allow moisture on the hand-held portion or use the camera for any medical purpose. Store in a safe, dry place.
